1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Cloudstic ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Cloudstic provides encrypted cloud backup services. We back up your files from connected sources (such as Google Drive) into encrypted, deduplicated archives stored securely.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your passkeys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload, back up, or store content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
5. Data and Privacy
Your files are encrypted before storage. We do not access the contents of your backups. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service, including your email address and usage metrics. For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Storage and Limits
Your storage allocation depends on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to enforce storage limits. If you exceed your plan's storage quota, new backups may be paused until usage is reduced or your plan is upgraded.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloudstic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
